Writing a plan

Start small: Try “Find a weapon. Fight nearby eggs. Heal when hurt.” Use one idea per sentence, up to 600 characters. Common misspellings and casual wording are welcome. Check the resulting steps and any warnings before judging the plan.
Conditions and distances: Try “If health is below 40, hide. Otherwise fight.” Distances are metres: “Attack when the enemy is within 6 m.” You can write m, metres or meters. “Within” includes the boundary; “closer than” does not.
Self-defense and the flame ring: “Never shoot first. Stay near the perimeter.” returns fire at your attacker and patrols inside the safe ring. Add “Pursue anyone who shoots me” for a chase that can continue briefly after the shots stop.
Fair play: Your words choose tactics. They cannot change physics, damage, visibility or starting equipment, or bypass the game's rules. Some requests get an explained alternative:
“Move twice as quick”: Keep exploring at normal speed when earlier steps allow it. No speed boost.
“Find any way to cheat”: Seek useful, unguarded supplies. No cheats or rule changes.
“Imagine you already picked up the powerups”: Collect real weapons, medkits, armour and chests during the battle. No free gear.
“Appear invisible”: Find cover and hide without shooting. Enemies can still see your egg when it is exposed.
“Do more damage”: Look for a higher-tier weapon. It must be found and picked up; weapon damage is unchanged.
Speech bubbles: Try “Attack while screaming” or “Yell "For the yolk!"”. Bubbles are cosmetic: they do not scare, stun or distract enemies. Offensive lines use a clean egg phrase instead.
When a plan needs work: Read the explanation beside the plan and its steps. An explained alternative can play, but an unknown instruction or impossible condition may stop the new plan. Your current battle keeps running. In simple play, open Plan details to see the steps or copy a bug report.
More room to watch: Hide panel slides the controls away; Show panel brings them back with your draft intact. The battle keeps running. The 1×, 2× and 4× controls change playback speed for the whole battle, not your egg's movement speed.

How a match works

The match: Fifty eggs by default; Battle setup lets you choose 2–50 eggs and a map size. Eggs parachute in along one line across the map. Last one alive wins. Your rules run twenty times a second, top to bottom, and the first rule that fits is the one that acts.
The drop: A plane crosses the island on a different angle every map and everyone jumps along its line, a few at a time. The camera rides it until your egg goes. Nothing can see, shoot or hurt you in the air, and your rules do not start until you touch down.
The circle: Shrinks in steps and eventually closes completely. Outside it you lose health fast, straight through armour. Your egg has built-in help for returning to safety. “Stay near the edge of the flame ring” patrols just inside it, keeping a safe gap from the fire.
Distance and speed: Distances use metres (m), and normal movement is 4 m/s. Range, blast radius and distance conditions all use this same scale.
Guns: Six, in three tiers. Only a higher tier is an upgrade; within a tier it is a choice of range against damage against rate of fire. A shotgun wants to be in your face, a sniper is helpless up close.
Killing pays: A kill gives you 25 health, and the egg you killed leaves its gun and any unspent medkit where it fell. The best kit on the map is usually wherever the last fight was.
Morale: A kill also leaves your egg shooting faster and straighter for about eight seconds — it glows while it lasts. Another kill starts the clock again. Sitting in cover never earns it.
Bodies stay: A dead egg remains where it died and your egg can see it. Somebody won that fight and may still be close — so a body is either a warning or a shopping trip, and you can write either.
Medkits: One second standing still to open — a single hit cancels that — then 50 health over three seconds that nothing can interrupt. Healing early and walking away works.
Armour: Soaks damage before your health does. It is used up rather than dropped, so it never comes off a body.
Buildings: Walls block bullets and sight; doorways let eggs through. Hiding seeks a nearby building or cover without shooting. Your egg handles routes around obstacles, but a suitable building or perfect hiding spot is not guaranteed.
Chests: A second and a half standing still, and nobody can see what is inside first. Usually worth it; sometimes nothing.
Grenades and barrels: You start with one grenade. Throws reach up to 10 m, with a 1.4-second fuse and a 3.2 m blast radius. Red barrels explode with a 4.2 m radius and can set off nearby barrels. Watch for the flashing blast circle and keep clear.
Looks and sound: Make it yours changes your egg's name and look, not its abilities. Battle sounds fade with distance from your egg and stop when too far away, even if you move the camera. Sound on / Sound off controls audio.
